Information for students of AMU

Basic conditions for graduates applying for a practical internship abroad:

The student must be enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral’s degree programme at the time the placement is confirmed. The internship has to be related to the field of study. All administration for Erasmus+ program has to be done before the final exams of the student.

The internship takes place after the graduation (i.e. the intern does not have the status of a student at the time of leaving, but is already leaving as a graduate).

The approximate duration of an internship is 3 to 4 months (with a scholarship from Erasmu+) up to maximum 12 months.

Information about the receiving organization abroad:

For an internship you can go to the EU countries + Iceland, Liechtenstein or Norway.

The work placement is a full or part time job according to a pre-agreed work plan.

Financial conditions:

The graduate will receive a scholarship through the European Development Agency, s.r.o. (up to 3-4 months)

The scholarship is provided as a lump sum per month of the internship abroad; the amount of the scholarship depends on (as well as for ERASMUS study stays) the destination country. The amount of scholarships is listed here

Students should be aware that the scholarship may not cover all their expenses during their stay abroad; it is only a contribution. The scholarship covers 3-4 months of the chosen internship; the rest of the expenses are covered by the student.

Selecting the host organisation:

The student tries to find a suitable institution by him/herself with the help of the coordinator from the side of the European Development agency, corresponding to their field of study (a company, office, NGO, etc.), where the internship can be organised individually. After that, the students will enter information about the organisation into the relevant documents.
