Even though it is a small town, the municipality provides its citizens with a lot of sport activities (volunteer firemen, football team, women volleyball team…), cultural activities (numbers of concerts in churches and on the public places) and social events e.g. regular meeting of citizens with the mayor, publishing of a journal referring to the social and home affairs in Bělá.

The Municipality of Bělá is situated in the region of the Palatine Forest, which is a nice tourist destination especially for people willing to spend time actively (hiking, cycling etc.). This is the reason why Bělá developed and now runs a touristic information centre which provides the tourists with information about Bělá, about Palatine and Bohemian Forest and with tips for sightseeing in the region.
