SMART AND SKILLS

In order to fight againt the high rate of european student leaving school, the Erasmus+ Smart and Skills project aims to create a new teaching method that focuses on life skills and innovative technological didactic methods. 

The project aims to achieve several outcomes, including promoting autonomy, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills through learning practices. It also seeks to improve knowledge of new technologies and digital literacy among users and partner members. 

The long-term effects of the project include reducing school dropouts, enhancing student engagement and interest in learning, and empowering teachers to integrate technology effectively in classrooms. Additionally, the project aims to create a repository of educational resources accessible to all teachers, which can be beneficial for distance learning.

Within the Smart and Skills project, 3 different Project Results will be produced:

1. “Digital didactic materials” on life skills: Design and development of digital materials on life skills aimed at SEN students, that could be specifically used for cooperative learning.

2.    Training course kit for teacher: Elaboration of a curricula based on life skills with a methodology based on microteaching and on interdisciplinary small units.

3. Manual for the production of “digital tools on life skills for cooperative learning”: Disseminating the experience to schools or countries that have not directly participated in the project, with guidelines published guidelines with step-by-step descriptions on how to develop the activities.
