The DESK project partners have successfully concluded the 3rd Transnational Project Meeting in Potenza, Italy.

A kick-off meeting was held in Prague on November 29, 2019, for the new Erasmus+ project called TICTAC. The main aim of the meeting was to deal with intellectual outputs, to involve individual partners in their processing and, among other things, dissemination and project management.
The meeting was great and in a relaxed atmosphere and we are looking forward to further cooperation.
The DESK project partners have successfully concluded the 2nd Transnational Project Meeting in Pila, Poland.
The meeting’s goals among others were the approval of the established State of the Art Review (O1) and also discuss the emerging Curriculum (O2). In addition, sample material of courseware that can be developed was demonstrated during this meeting. In the end, the partners were able to define exactly how the DESK Training Toolbox (O4) content will be developed and who does what in the remaining project period.
On behalf of the AgriGo4Cities project partnership, we kindly invite you to take part in our transnational conference PARTICIPATORY URBAN AGRICULTURE FOR INCLUSIVE CITIES,
which will be held in Budapest on the 19th of March 2019. The transnational conference, coordinated by the Central Transdanubian RegionalInnovation Agency, will bring together scholars, practitioners, NGOs, activists, policymakers and public institutions’ representatives, with the aim of discussing the urban participatory agriculture contribution to the development of vibrant community-building spaces, the possibilities for integration of the participatory approach into public decision-making and ways to motivate and empower marginalized groups to become socially and economically more engaged in the decision-making processes. The conference will be held in English, Hungarian translation will be provided.

This course is intended for teachers, educators, representatives of schools or of any other educational institution interested in acquiring or enhancing further skills in strategic management, implementation of modern trends and innovations in the education system, as well as enhancing the participation of their schools in European projects.
Strategic management in schools forms the core theme of this course, which its most significant part is international cooperation and development of European schools, therefore throughout the course, the participants will acquire some knowledge in topics related to strategic management, such as financial planning or staff management.

Between 16th and 18th October 2018, a meeting of Alterdrive project partners took place in Byalistok, Poland. The European Development Agency is one of the active participants in the project and was involved in the various steps that will lead to the creation of a new manual for secondary industrial schools about alternative fuels. A part of the meeting was an evaluation of the questionnaire conducted in the past months by head-mechanics in car services of automotive brands in all partner countries of the project.
The questionnaire led to interesting conclusions such as confirmation that students of industrial schools should be taught more intensively about alternative fuels as well as that the system lacks specialists. There is also an urgent need for the education of new mechanics as car services do not have enough educated mechanics for electric or hybrid engines. The project team received a positive feedback on their intentions and already planned further steps to proceed in the upcoming months.
